The Farmhouse-Chic Getaway Your Feed’s Been Manifesting

Weekend Edits

Jul 25, 2025

Glamping, garden parties, and gourmet, farm-fresh pizza—welcome to Wildflower Farms.

If you’ve been on Instagram lately, your feed is likely bursting with vibrant garden-to-table spreads, dreamy hydrangea-lined backyards, and baskets overflowing with homegrown vegetables. ’Tis the summer of cooking and baking your way through Wishbone Kitchen’s new cookbook—We’re looking at you, olive oil cake with peaches and cream!—and channeling your very own Martha Stewart aesthetic.

Life at home can be incredibly cozy. But what if we told you there’s a weekend escape that brings all of that to life—and more? Enter Wildflower Farms, a charming upscale glamping retreat nestled amongst the lush wildflower meadows and tree-lined trails of Gardiner, New York.

Beyond its dreamy, farmhouse-chic collection of cottages and cabins—outfitted with literally everything you need for serious TLC, from private patios and floor-to-ceiling windows to cozy lounge areas and tools to clip your own wildflower bouquets (a touch we absolutely loved!)—there’s much to explore at Wildflower Farms.

The Art of Abundance: Harvest Dinners Beneath the Maple Trees

The beauty of being immersed in nature is woven into every Wildflower Farms adventure. The resort’s Art of Abundance: Harvest Dinner Series is designed to delight your taste buds and spark your creativity. Set beneath a lush maple-lined canopy, the al fresco dinner feels like something straight out of a Nancy Meyers film. Running through September 2025, each dinner pays homage to a single star ingredient—like heirloom tomatoes or edible flowers—harvested fresh from the farm soon before it makes its way to your plate. (Thursday, August 14 will focus on tomatoes, and Sunday, September 28 will spotlight peppers.)

Botanical Cocktails, Cozy Fire Pits, And Aesthetic Adventures

Another experience we can’t recommend enough is the Botanical Mixology class. Guests get hands-on experience crafting two signature cocktails infused with botanicals sourced straight from the farm. The best part? Kicking back, enjoying the mountain views, and sipping your creations by one of Wildflower Farms’ cozy fire pits—the perfect backdrop for golden hour snaps.

Other must-do experiences during your stay? Earth to Ember Pizza Making, a Paint the Season watercolor workshop, Healing Reiki sessions, Pressed Flower Pottery classes, Bouquet Building amongst the meadows, Single-Barrel Whiskey Tasting, and picturesque farm picnicking—complete with a delightful basket for two.

Bring the Farm Home With You

And the fun doesn't end there. The retreat's Take Home the Harvest experience celebrates the changing of the seasons through a bountiful medley of produce from its endless fields. Your "farm bag" comes filled with a delightful, colorful assortment of freshly picked vegetables—a truly meaningful (and mouthwatering!) treat to bring back to your kitchen and flex your chef skills.
