Farouche brings eco-luxury, farm-to-table dining, and outdoor adventure to Mont-Tremblant.
Farouche brings eco-luxury to Mont-Tremblant National Park. Complete with seven A-frame cabins, delicious farm-to-plate meals, outdoor adventures, access to Devil’s River, and a warmed Nordic bath overlooking the towering peaks in the distance, the property exudes pure tranquility among nature and silence.
“In the Devil’s Valley, surrounded by the mythical Mont-Tremblant National Park is located a wild land. Farouche is the path where the boreal forest, our eco-luxurious nature refuges and a farm-to-table journey meet,” the eco-resort writes on its website. After a few nights snuggled up in our cozy abode under the stars, we know exactly what it’s like to glamp in Mont-Tremblant. Spoiler alert: It’s nothing short of dreamy.
Farm-Fresh Breakfasts and Maple-Sweetened Coffee Await

Mornings greeted us with a farm-fresh breakfast and the intoxicating aroma of coffee (sweetened with maple syrup, of course). The owners, Jonathan and Geneviève, delivered the most scrumptious spreads. Our first day included a charcuterie board display of French toast, bacon, fresh oranges, and sliced cheese. The next morning, we savored the best bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a tasty side of skillet potatoes we're still daydreaming about.
Scenic Trails With Twists, Turns, and Waterfalls Are Ready To Be Explored
After fueling up, snowshoeing the property or heading to the trails to explore the park is always a good idea. Mont Tremblant National Park offers seven trails ranging from 1 to 5km for outdoor enthusiasts of all skill levels. We were lucky enough to time our snowshoe trip with D Tour just right during a fresh snowfall.
If snowshoeing isn't really your thing, there are plenty of fun alternatives, like cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and dogsledding. Or, visit an intimate, family-run "sugar shack" near Mont Tremblant, where you'll learn firsthand the essential steps to making maple syrup, from harvesting to production to bottling.
Foodies can even snag spots on a Snowshoeing and Fondue Tour! You'll head to the summit via gondola, then embark on a guided snowshoe journey to Versant Soleil's Refuge du Trappeur. Here, you'll indulge in fondue while kicking back by a crackling wood fireplace before snowshoeing back down the mountain.
What It’s Like Sleeping in an A-Frame Cabin
After full days of adventures, it was a real treat returning to our cozy A-frame abode. Each shelter is equipped with everything we needed for the ultimate glamping escape: a plush king-size bed, gas stove, seating area, mini-fridge, blankets, and ponchos. The outdoors opens up to a private deck with Adirondack chairs, picnic table, and wood-burning stove at each shelter. Bathrooms are a short walk away.
During our stay, we could not get over how peaceful it was at Farouche from sunrise to sunset to nights spent under the stars. When kicking back in our Adirondack chairs, soaking in the silence and beauty of the surrounding scenery proved to be the ideal respite from life's daily chaos.
Naturally, we made sure to enjoy every single sunset from either the cedar hot tub or curled up by the fire pit with the “farm bar’s” refreshing cocktails.
We experienced Farouche in the winter, but each season at the luxe glamping retreat offers something special. In the winter, every day exudes an après ski vibe. During the warmer months, Farouche offers gourmet picnic baskets to enjoy on the farm or on the river, fat tire electric bikes, paddle boarding, and four-course outdoor dinners from the farm.
